Beauty Bar has various mixtures of patrons, from local hipsters to izod wearing cut-outs. The character is interestingly being added-to as the neighborhood keeps developing. Think back to the days of false eyelashes, big bouffant hair, and lipstick galore. Yep the sixties are back at the Beauty Bar, a funky little hotspot in the Mission corridor. Here hipsters go retro while kicking back under one the many swank, shiny cone-shaped hairdryers sipping specialty drinks like a Prell or Aqua Net. As if that wasn't enough for beauty hopefuls this sassy bar offers manicures every Wednesday night to get a little sizzle in your style. The combination of cheap drinks and edgy music make this pink vinyl lounge much more than your average beauty salon experience.
