Located South of Market, bacar is a dramatic and lively modern San Francisco restaurant. Mahogany, glass, steel and wood combine to create a comfortable yet elegant ambiance. Chef Morgan Mueller offers a menu abound for sharing and wine pairing, including a raw bar, pizzas from the wood burning oven and an extensive appetizer list. Daily menu updates (particularly with the pizza toppings, salads, and vegetable sides) reflect market availability. The wine list is 800 bottles strong, with 30 wines served by the glass.
