Loic Le Meur
Founder & CEO, Leade.rs

Loic Le Meur is a serial entrepreneur based in San Francisco. Loic is working on his new startup Leade.rs, a speakers-events marketplace.

Previously Loic co-founded LeWeb, one of the largest European tech events. According to The Economist, "LeWeb is where revolutionaries gather to plot the future." LeWeb launched in London in addition to Paris and was acquired by Reed Exhibitions in 2012.

Loic has also successfully started and sold four companies. Hootsuite acquired his social networking app Seesmic. He founded one of the first blogging services in Europe, Ublog, acquired by Six Apart now Say Media. His web hosting company Rapidsite France was acquired by France Telecom and his web agency B2L was acquired by BBDO (Omnicom group).

Loic is an active business angel and was an early investor in LinkedIn, Evernote and Lending Club, among many others.

Loic was named one of "Europe's Tech25" by the Wall Street Journal as well as one of the "25 most influential people" on the web by Business Week He is featured in The Economist as one of "Europe's Blooming Entrepreneurs", and is a "Young Global Leader" with the World Economic Forum where he helps select the next Tech Pioneers and is a regular speaker.

Loic loves paragliding and kite-surfing.
