AudioBus is a moving venue, giving audiences an adventurous sonic experience like never before.
This year features Geoff Morris, a multi-instrumentalist based in improvisation and evolving ambient expressions. His music is sculptural, created through repetitions of building up and carving away.
STRUCTION - "The Dogpatch and Bayview districts are in a liminal state between the destruction of the last remnants of SF's industrial history, and the construction of a historical zone and new develpments. It is a unique period in which these spaces, in their moment of transition, are open to exploration and contemplation. After the workers leave and before the gentry settle, there is space for a resurgent natural sprawl, a habitat perfectly suited to the adventurous."
As we travel through these territories, you'll hear a score engaging these notions of flux and stasis, incorporating field recordings sampled from these locales.
Guests will check in at the California College of Arts' main reception area at 1111 8th Street in San Francisco. The 45-minute tours will depart promptly from there.
