Thu Mar 26 - Sun Apr 26
at A.C.T. (8pm)
In a wildly theatrical, totally modern interpretation that captures all of the passion and spirit of Homer's Iliad, renowned writer and director Lillian Groag (A.C.T.'s The Rivals) reignites the wrath of Greek warrior Achilles against his archrival, Agamemnon. Adapted from lauded contemporary poet Christopher Logue's ravishing translation that was 45 years in the making...

at Mama Calizo's Voice Factory (see listing for times)
One of the few remaining native San Franciscan's, Kitten on the Keys is a frisky one ma'am band. Her long awaited one woman musical follows the hi-jinks of a dorky suburban gal who is not so secure, a bit addicted, and oh so slightly socially impaired. All of a sudden, with a flip of a switch, or an hallucination, her life changes by discovering punks, punk-rocker and the rock star lifestyle.
Sat Mar 28
at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (6pm - 9:30pm)
Rachel Maddow is the new star of cable news. Her hipster vibe, wicked smarts, and genuine good cheer have made her show an instant hit. Existing in the space between PBS's NewsHour and Jon Stewart's Daily Show, Maddow's program privileges reporters and actual experts over pundits, favors real information over blather and comes with a healthy side of sass.
Sat Mar 28
at Festival Pavilion (5pm - 10:30pm)

The Okizu Foundation annual fundraiser to benefit Camp Okizu, which provides children w/cancer & their siblings a fun & safe respite. The black-tie event includes live & silent auctions, raffle, dinner & entertainment.
