On Saturday, November 14th between 8p-11p, come check out the latest exhibit at The Gallery at TAYLOR / MONROE, Love Letter to the City, by SF artist Lord Colin O’Neal.
Join us for a fun night of art as local artist, Lord Colin O’Neal, pays homage to his local city with drawings and paintings of his favorite buildings and visual staples of San Francisco. The opening reception party will be the start of the exhibit’s duration in the salon until February 2016.
Come and share your own love letter to the city we all know and adore. Enjoy (and buy) the amazing artwork by the artist while enjoying tasty libations, tunes by a live DJ, and San Francisco vibes. This is a 21+ event.
About the artist:
Lord Colin O'Neal has spent, over the course of the last decade, his time painting, traveling and selling his works across America before setting roots in San Francisco. While spending his career in the pop art scene on the east coast, he started to create artwork that was for personal enjoyment on the side. This practice of relieving his creative urge beyond that of commissioned pop art pieces amounted to a collection of work that had, at its core, no expectation for it to be shown or seen by anyone beyond close friends and family. His work is an expression of his thoughts and feelings about the life he was living in the moment that each piece was painted. Throughout the years, O’Neal has garnered a large fanbase among the art community and cultivated a celebrity following of the likes of Channing Tatum and James Van Der Beek.
