This collection by Diane DiPrima is an exploration in juxtaposition and interconnection. Acrylic on canvas paintings, plaster on wood pieces, and Plexiglas works will be shown at the event.
All of the proceeds for art sold at the fundraiser will be donated to Smile Train — a charity that provides cleft lip and cleft palate repair surgeries for children around the world. A raffle will be held for one painting.
Diane DiPrima was born with an incomplete cleft and took part in a medical study that corrected her lip and helped develop various cleft repair techniques. She created this collection to enable lives to change through art. Diane studied at UC, Davis, where she earned an MFA.
Free; attendees must be 21 and over.
