"Patterns, Landscapes, and Urban Designs" explores patterns and compositions in natural and man-made environments. Cities, towns, and rural areas Chandler Lee, a photographer and city planner based in San Francisco, has visited provide inspiration for creating expressions of distinctive designs and textures. Chandler attempts to capture the essence of place in terms of location, geography, and physical features. He also explores how land, vegetation, water and sky display unusual formations; accentuated by shadows and light, they create motifs of beauty, tranquility and symmetry.
