Reception Saturday, February 6, 1-4pm
Exhibition February 1 through February 28, 2016
Bay Area flower painter Kevin Woodson will fill the Castro with flowers and color this February when he exhibits a celebratory collection of his flower watercolors, each worthy of the beads, the floats, and the beat of Mardi Gras.
The exhibit will run February 1st through February 28th 2016 at Spark Arts, 4229 18th St. in San Francisco. A reception for the artist and floral celebration of Mardi Gras will be held on Saturday, February 6th from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Mardi Gras sets the tone for this exhibit because of its wild exuberance expressed in an ages-old ritual celebration. For Kevin, it is a chance to kick out the jams and let the flowers celebrate their lives as flowers.
