Argentine Tango 12 hours seminar with maestros Gabriel Missé+Maru

World renown maestros Gabriel Missé and Maru will teach a 12 hours Seminar of SALON TANGO at Gracia Milonga with Natasha
Gabriel Missé and Maru's workshops are progressive and begin with the most essential elements of Tango foundation (i.e. 'Caminata' - tango walk, pivot, ocho, how to lead and follow, posture, and connection). Drills, exercises, and dance sequences that breakdown the mechanics of movement and technique to create dynamic flow will follow; this is key to dancing safely and beautifully, expressing the elegance and fluidity of Tango with confidence.
There will be lectures on tango history and anecdotes of their experiences learning from famous Golden Era tango masters, codes of tango, tango orchestras, and musical interpretation.
They will teach the secrets of Tango dancing from famous milongueros from the Golden Era of Tango such as Todaro, Perita, Toto, Petaca, Pepito Avellaneda, El Turco José and more.
The workshops are suitable for beginners, applicable to all dance levels, and a dance partner is not needed. Beginners are highly encouraged to start with Workshop 1 as the seminar is progressive.

Drop in welcome, no partner necessary & level: pre-intermediate+up.
Sem 1: SATURDAY, March 17th: 7 - 10 pm
Sem 2: SUNDAY, March 18th: 6:30 - 8:30 pm & Welcome Milonga 8:30pm - 12 am - DJ Natasha.
Sem 3: SATURDAY, March 24th: 7 - 10 pm
Sem 4: SUNDAY, March 25th: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm+Milonga 8:30 pm - 12 am - DJ Natasha.
Sem 5 with Performance: SUNDAY, April 8th: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm Seminar & Performance at Gracia Milonga 8:30 pm - 12 am - DJ Gabriel Missé
* Fee: early registration & payment before March 11th is $255 for 12 hours with milongas . After March 11th is $265 for 12 hrs seminars with milongas.

Gabriel Missé is known for his classic style and grace, Missé is one of the greatest tango dancers of our time. Mr. Misse started to dance Tango from the age of six, with Masters such as Antonio Todaro and Pepito Avellaneda and performed with leading artists and musicians
He has appeared in tango documentaries for National Geographic and on Japanese television. For many years, Missé was part of the Miguel Angel Zotto’s company Tango x 2, the world tour of Una Noche de Tango and has choreographed several touring tango shows. An accredited judge for the Buenos Aires Metropolitan and World Tango Championships, Missé has taught and danced in festivals in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North & South America.
