For the past five summers the San Francisco Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (SFNOMA) has hosted a Project Pipeline Architecture Camp for middle school students. The goal is to introduce middle school students to the profession of architecture through a exciting, engaging, and collaborative curriculum.
Students will enhance their creative and critical thinking skills as they develop a project that reflects their academic, cultural, and design interest. Each project is rooted in a real world community design problem based in San Francisco.
Students will learn and practice design thinking, model making, sketching, computer modeling, and public speaking skills as they present their work in front of design professionals, community advocates, their families.
Registration deadline is June 30th. Scholarships are available.
