Kearny Street Workshop, the country's longest-running Asian Pacific American arts organization, is bringing tomorrow's artists to the forefront with APAture 2015: Future Tense. From 10/2 - 10/17, in venues across SF, this one-of-a-kind festival highlights some of the brightest local talent in Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Music, Literary Arts, Film, and Comics & Illustration.
Featured artists include Flannery O'Connor Award winner Siamak Vassoughi, Murphy & Cadogan Contemporary Art Award winner Kimberly Arteche, ambient eclectic soul duo AstraLogik, author of the graphic novel The Best We Could Do, Thi Bui, Alvin Ailey alumni SPULU, and up-and-coming video producer Jethro Patalinghug.
