Description
Photographs by Ansel Adams will be featured at the San Jose Museum of Art Sept. 5 to Feb. 28. Adams was a photographer, musician, naturalist, explorer, critic and teacher. He is arguably one of the most recognized landscape photographers, mostly due to his work in California capturing high contrast photos of national landmarks. This exhibition focuses on his masterful, small-scale print made from the 1920s to the 1950s, which, unlike his later works, is sharp-focused photography.
