Winchester Orchestra announces a conductor exchange between our own Maestro Michael DiGiacinto and Maestro Sebastiano De Filippi of South America. Program: Rossini's Overture to La gazza ladra, Sibelius' Violin Concerto with talented violinist Andrew Sords, and Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio Espagnol. In exchange, DiGiacinto, will conduct an orchestra of De Filippi's choosing in South America.
The purpose being to bring conductors a different orchestra maybe in a different language and culture. In the end, the music they make will transcend all languages and cultures.
