Award-winning author Andrew X. Pham will speak Mission College as part of the ongoing Asian American & Pacific Islander speaker series.

The winner of numerous awards including a Guggenheim Fellowship for Creative Arts, Pham has described writing as “either an addiction or a curse”, but his gripping memoirs are filled with humor, insight, and lyrical descriptions of the people and places that have shaped his life across two continents.

He is currently writing the final book in his Vietnam trilogy, Starfruit and Cloudtiger: A Love Story.

Copies of his books Catfish and Mandala and The Eaves of Heaven will be available for sale and signing.

Parking permits are $3.00 and are available in Parking Lots B, C, and D.
