One of the country’s most recognized broadcast journalists, Lesley Stahl has had a career marked by political scoops, interviews with heads of state and award-winning foreign reporting. Beginning as a young television reporter covering the Watergate scandal, she later covered the Reagan and Bush administrations for the CBS Evening News, and in 1991 became co-editor of 60 Minutes. Stahl has covered everything from the Israel-Palestine conflict to the Duke lacrosse players’ exoneration. She also reported for Years of Living Dangerously, a groundbreaking series exploring climate change.
