An evening with Jack Mosbacher @ GAMH

Door 7 / Show 8
“Oh I may wander and I may roam, but I will always find my way back home. ‘Cause home is you.”
Like this lyric from his upcoming debut single, “I’m In Love,” Jack Mosbacher has done his fair share of rambling and roaming. Born near San Francisco in a little town called Woodside, Jack has worn many hats: college baseball player, author, actor, singer-songwriter, and all-around entertainer. Now based in New York City, Jack has been quickly tracing his way up the ladder of the fabled East Village music scene.
His influences are as varied as his background. Begin with a childhood obsession with Brian Wilson and Motown. Combine it with a later devotion to the great storytellers like Dylan and Van Morrison. Throw in the pop aesthetic of Hall and Oates and Bay City Rollers, and douse it all with an extra splash of California sunshine and New York grit.
Jack’s debut album, “Sunny Songs for Shady People,” will drop in summer 2016 to coincide with his first tour of California.
