An Evening of Tea and the Art of Quilling (Paper Filigree) with Roxanne Nicholson

Come to The Quail & Thistle Tea Room and enjoy an Evening Tea, followed by a brief history and beginner-level instruction in the art of Quilling, also known as Paper Filigree, on Thursday, April 25th from 6-9pm.
You’ll start the evening with a prix fixe menu of mixed greens salad, tea sandwiches, savories and of course tea from 6-7pm. Local artist Roxanne Nicholson will then give a brief history on the Medieval art of Quilling (Paper Filigree) - rolling, shaping and gluing strips of paper into shapes - followed by a beginning instruction class in this inexpensive but beautiful art form. Tea and a dessert buffet will be available during the instruction portion of the evening.
Cost for this event - Evening Tea, Quilling Instruction, and all Materials - is $50 per person; RSVPs will be taken via The Quail & Thistle in-person or online through Wednesday, April 24th. All RSVPs become non-refundable at 5pm on Thursday, April 18th. Hurry to get your RSVP in for this event - seating is limited!
