SF Station Blows It Up

Jenny Lewis and the gang kicked off their tour at The Warfield last Thursday night with Johnathan Rice and the Grand Ole Party promoting their new album Under the Blacklight. Performing classic songs and new stuff that was more dance disco with a rock beat, they took the place down.

2. Underworld @ The Warfield, San Francisco, September 8, 2007

The UK electronic pioneers Underworld returned to SF for the second of two shows at The Warfield with Paul Oakenfold opening the show. The boys turned The Warfield into a dance club for a night with kids dancing and cheering to every beat. They were out to promote a new album Oblivion with Bells out October 16th.

3. Tony Bennett @ Davies Symphony Hall, San Francisco, September 12, 2007

There is only one thing to say about Tony Bennett: legend. In front of over 2700 people Tony sang song after song for over an hour and a half, and made every single person in the place get goosebumps (including yours truly). I donít really have the words to describe the man so I won't even try.
