Americano Social Club at The Red Poppy

The Americano Social Club plays music for la dolce vita, and the Red Poppy Art House is one of the sweetest music venues in San Francisco. This is a not-to-be-missed night of live, local music at its best. The band is led by mandolin virtuoso Michael Zisman with Jason Vanderford (of Junk Parlor) on guitar and vocals and Joe Kyle, Jr. (HowellDevine and the Waybacks) on upright bass. They're joined by Anna Laura Quinn,one of New Orleans up-and-coming vocalists with one of the sultriest voices you've ever heard (you've been warned), and Scott Foster on guitar. Expect intoxicating romantic tunes from around the world with a gypsy jazz accent, fearlessly eclectic covers (think Johnny Cash, followed by Nirvana and Adele), heart pounding choros, and originals you can't forget.
