Riley Hill has been performing bluegrass music on the west coast since 2010. After a few years of playing and recording with his band The Cherry Pickers he decided to record his own album "Hard Times on Riley Hill" and put together a band of pickers experienced in the west coast brand of traditional bluegrass and call it "Brand New Still".
Riley Hill & Brand New Still will be making it's debut at The Plough & Stars in San Francisco on Jan. 2 and the band will include David Thom on mandolin and tenor vocals, Ryan Breen (Windy Hill) on banjo and baritone vocals and the great Kyle McCabe (Windy Hill) on bass.
