What: A fun and exciting one-day beach soccer tournament.

Who: Boys Age Groups: U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15

Girls Age Groups: U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15

When: Saturday, June 30, 2012. Games start by 10am and the Championship game will finish by 4pm.

Where: Beautiful Ocean Beach in San Francisco.

Why: On the soft sand where The City meets the sea is the perfect place to spend a summer-soccer day with your team. Beach soccer is played 5v5 (4 on the pitch plus a goalkeeper) which provides a small-sided environment ripe for player development. The sandy surface adds another dimension to the game that will test your players’ technical abilities and increase improvisation. With an average of more than 10 goals per game every match is bound to be an exciting, fast-paced, and high-scoring affair. In addition, the physically demanding short sprints and sharp changes of direction required will boost your players’ speed, strength, and quickness.

Registration fee & the cause: Your $300 entry fee supports a great cause. One hundred percent of the proceeds from America SCORES Beach Soccer Blast! will directly benefit under-served Bay Area youth. Your participation and contribution will help ensure that more than 1,000 kids at inner-city public schools have access to high quality after-school soccer and educational enrichment programs provided by America SCORES Bay Area.
