Avast, ye landlubbers! From the deepest darkest depths of eastern Scotland comes ALESTORM, a drunken band of two mad Scots and two Irishmen on an epic quest to slay posers, drink beer, and be the greatest damn band that ever did sail the seven seas! Describing their style as "True Scottish Pirate Metal", Alestorm plays an infectious blend of folk and power metal in the vein of bands such as Korpiklaani and Turisas, but with a unique piratical twist. ALESTORM are coming to kick ass and chew gum. And they're all out of gum.

ALESTORM formed in 2006 and after gaining a cult following in their local scene, they quickly inked a record deal with Austria's Napalm Records. After a few line-up changes early on, the band eventually settled on their current swashbuckling crew comprising Christopher Bowes, Daniel Evans, Gareth Murdock, and Peter Alcorn.

Drawing on wide stylistic influences, such as Bal-Sagoth and Primordial to name but a few, ALESTORM released their debut album "Captain Morgan’s Revenge" in 2008 to great critical acclaim, followed swiftly by their sophomore album "Black Sails at Midnight" in 2009. Now, after cementing their reputation as a kick-ass live band with countless hundreds of shows around the world, ALESTORM returns in 2011 with their third album "Back Through Time". "Back Through Time" promises to be an epic adventure through piratical badassery in 11 tracks, with more drunken singalong anthems than you can shake a stick at. There will be songs about midgets. There will be songs about Wisconsin. There will be songs about traveling through time to kill Vikings. And, of course, loads of songs about pirates doing what they do best; kicking your ass and stealing your wenches!

Trollfest - So how would anyone, in their right mind, or otherwise, dare to define TrollfesT? The closest you would come is probably True Norwegian Balkan Black Metal, but even then you would need to include influences from lots more genres. The best way to put it is that this band is all about alcohol, joy and music, three subjects that draw in fans from all ages and genres, eager to listen to TrollfesT’s records and witness the exuberant and skilled live performances.

Gypsyhawk is four metal dudes playing rock and roll and bringing the party every time they get on stage," states guitarist Andrew Packer, and there is perhaps no better way of surmising the spirit and sound of the Pasadena quartet. Revisiting the electrifying sounds of bullshit-free 70s rock, the band are a breath of fresh air compared to the endless onslaught of breakdown obsessed bands cluttering up heavy music. Marinating their wares in whiskey and weed, they hurl out blistering riffs and irresistible hooks and grooves, doing their damnedest to ensure that everyone at their shows is having as much fun as they are.

Valensorow - A musical story of a mystical afterlife, and the quest for immortality. The band begun as a side project in 2012, founded by Valensorow's mastermind drummer/songwriter Conner Bruce. Those few bar shows and scratch demos took off like a flaming arrow through the sky. Changes brought forth a clan of musicians that are hard to beat, and easy to party with. The groups debut album "Neptus", produced by Ben Whittaker of dB Sound Studios, was released on June 24th. The album is already receiving enthusiastic reviews, and the band is set to tour full time in support of the album. The unique blend of looming symphonies, scorched with guitars fit for hell itself provide a wonderful and colorful story to overlay a ferocious rythm. The band is excited for their futures, which includes the sequel to Neptus, and a third album, to conclude Valensorow's first of many epic tales.
