Russo Alberts has been playing nonstop since he was a mere five years old, starting out as a singer, then switching to guitar at the age of ten, before settling with the bass at eighteen. Throughout his career, he has performed with such jazz greats as Bubby Hatchet, Marcus Belgrave, Dan Turner, and Leon Hatkins, and has served as a member of the Virgil Gonsalves Quartet and the Don Alberts Quartet.
