It’s been nearly a decade since the Albert Square first started kicking out simple, catchy and energetic ’90s-inspired indie-punk tunes. They called it quits in 2011, only to return two years later with the most unhinged EP they had ever recorded. Since then, they’ve been working on their debut full length, "I (Assume I) Know What I’m Doing," which should be released sometime next year. The record takes a step back from the urgency of their past work. It has the most dynamic and emotional moments on any of their EPs. It’s the most honest (and best) work lead singer Sim Castro has written. --Aaron Carnes
