The Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Foundation will bring the "About Face" exhibit on Yitzhak Rabin: His Life and Legacy to Berkeley in December. Yitzhak Rabin's teachings have become a rallying cry for peace, pluralism, and a return to the Zionist values upon which Israel was founded. This artful assemblage of photographs, media accounts, and statements by Israel academics, journalists and political leaders will be presented throughout the exhibition.
The ABOUT FACE exhibit is produced by the young educators of the Dror Israel kibbutz movement, and has been presented across Israel as a living memorial to Prime Minister Rabin. This will be the first time the exhibit will be seen in the United States. Admission is free and open to the public and the general community is encouraged to learn more about Rabin's teaching as well as the political division that led to his assassination in 1995.
