Come to an Amherst Writers and Artists (AWA) writing group that develops the writing, stories, imagination, and unique voice of each member.

Everyone is welcome. The groups give an enthusiastic start to new writers and help those who've been writing for decades go to new places.

The writing groups follow some simple guidelines to create a safe space where everyone feels confident and free to create, experiment, take risks, make things up, or tell the truth.
