Chana Bloch, winner of the Meringoff Poetry Award, fellowships from the NEA and NEH, is professor emerita of English at Mills College.
Ellen Bass most recently published "Like a Beggar," her fifth book of poetry. Previous books have been named a Notable Book by the Chronicle. Winner of the Lambda Literary Award, her poems have appeared in hundreds of publications. She teaches in the MFA program at Pacific University.
