Meet Edythe Boone, a mom, an activist, and an artist in the film A NEW COLOR: The Art of Edythe Boone. A New Color screens in the Bay Area about legendary artist and activist Edythe Boone. This is a film about how art can act as a resistance against social injustices. Edy creates art to take down barriers of gentrification, police brutality, and social justice. You will virtually walk through neighborhoods of Berkeley, Richmond, Oakland and San Francisco through the eyes of a muralist.
