Stay busy with printmaking workshops led by Youth Art Exchange’s young printmakers, a circus arts workshop with The San Francisco Youth Circus & Circus Center, button-making with the Board of Advising Youth from The Mix at SFPL, and more. DJs from Pyramind will keep the party going all day long.
Capture yourself in print at a photobooth presented by PicsArt. Take a piece of the Summit home by purchasing youth art work in Youth Art Exchange’s shop and in the gallery. High school students are invited to bring their work in physical or digital form for an informal portfolio review and feedback from Santa Fe University, California College of the Arts, and the San Francisco Art Institute.
Teen poets, musicians, dancers, performers, and DJs take center stage and compete to win prizes in the performance battle. Be inspired by youth from SFJAZZ & Youth Art Exchange’s Digibeats program, spoken word & dance from YBCA’s Young Artists at Work, acrobatics & juggling from the San Francisco Youth Circus & Circus Center, drumming and dancing from Loco Bloco, performance from Young People’s Teen Musical Theatre Company and the Youth Theater Project of the San Francisco Mime Troupe, and more.
