The American Institute of Architects-Monterey Bay and the city of Carmel-by-the-Sea are proud to invite you to their Annual Sand Castle Contest, now in its 53rd year. This family event is free to anyone who wishes to participate. Those interested can register right on the beach the morning of the event and begin building their masterpieces at 8am. Judging begins 12pm.
