Pranayama, the yogic art of life energy, is taught through the study of breath and mind. The best time to learn and practice this is at sunrise, when air and mind are fresh.
This 5-day special workshop is offered twice a year to experienced asana practitioners who wish to learn or sharpen the full range of daily practice tools: soothing, stimulating, settling, progressive, sharp-focus, broad-attention, physical, physiological, and emotional. Class finishes in time to start the day.
Prerequisite: Six months of Iyengar yoga home practice guided by weekly study with an Iyengar-certified teacher, or permission from the instructor. Please arrive at 6:45 to allow yourself time in Savasana.
$75 for the full week for all students until March 11. After March 11 full week is $105, with members receiving a 15% discount.
Daily drop-in is available with consent of Victoria Austin. Drop-in price is $22, with members receiving a 15% discount.
