4th ANNUAL WHISKYFEST™ SAN FRANCISCO RAISES THE BAR THIS OCTOBER
America’s largest whisky celebration comes back to San Francisco for the 4th year. WhiskyFest San Francisco will feature more than 250 of the world's finest, rarest, and most expensive single malt and blended Scotch, Irish, bourbon, American, Japanese, Canadian and other whiskies from around the world to sample in one Grand Ballroom. High-end cognac, rum, beer, and other spirits will be represented as well.
U.S. Artisan Distillers include Tuthilltown, Charbay, WhistlePig, Templeton, Koval Rough Stock's Montana line, Craft Distillers and Stranahan's
Twelve Speakers including Richard Paterson – Master Blender for The Dalmore, Rachel Barrie – Whisky Creator & Master Blender for Ardbeg, San Francisco's own Fritz Maytag and Simon Brooking of Laphroaig to name a few.
The focus is on education, and many distillery representatives and distinguished members of the whisky community will be on hand at the pouring booths to explain how the whiskies are made. Seminars, featuring their own tastings, run throughout the evening.
Attendees will also enjoy an expansive gourmet buffet all evening, plus coffee, tea, water and soda. Each attendee receives a commemorative Glencairn crystal whisky glass for tastings.
TICKETS: Regular Admission: $110 (includes a Glencairn commemorative crystal nosing glass, a gift bag, an event program, the latest copy of Malt Advocate magazine, entrance to all seminars on a first come first serve basis, a gourmet buffet throughout the evening and, of course, over 200 whiskies to sample.) Admission is at 6:30pm.
VIP Admission: $150 (includes all of the above as well as a sturdy canvas tote bag and admission to the event one hour earlier with limited ticketing. Many exhibitors pour something extra special that's available only during the VIP hour.) Admission is at 5:30pm.
