Description

SF’s past is extraordinarily rich and varied, thanks to the influx of immigrants who came here, bringing their traditions and transforming SF into a major city. The 2-day Expo showcases mini-museums set up by participating organizations to feature oral histories, artifacts and photographs. Look for the antique fire trucks in front of the Old Mint, rare oil-on-wood paintings of the Gold Rush by F. Alan Zimmerman,
exhibitors throughout the building, including the historic vaults, and special presentations in the north Counting Room. Plus, new this year: food trucks and beverages in the Courtyard and Mint Alley. For information/list of participants, visit the website: sfhistory.org.
