35th Anniversary: Dvorak & Bonds

The San Francisco Choral Society opens its 35th anniversary season with Dvorak's Mass in D Major, Op. 86 and Goin' Home, a song arrangement based on the famous Largo theme from his Symphony No. 9. Also featured on the program is African-American composer Margaret Bonds' Credo set to W.E.B. DuBois's Civil Rights poem. Led by Artistic Director Robert Geary, the program will feature a variety of artists including organist Benjamin Bachmann, pianist Bryan Baker, soprano Shawnette Sulker, mezzo soprano Kindra Scharich, tenor Lee Steward and bass baritone Wilford Kelly.
