The 30th Annual Emeryville Art Exhibition celebrates 3 decades of art & artists in Emeryville!
Truly a city of artists, Emeryville boasts one of the country's most active artist live-work communities with hundreds of visual and performing artists in residence year round. The arts have been at the center of a decades-long transformation of Emeryville into a city where locally made culture vibrantly defines the fabric of its neighborhoods. This annual exhibition celebrates Emeryville’s arts community by featuring the works of more than 100 artists and craftspeople - both established and emerging - who live or work in Emeryville. Now in its milestone 30th year, the exhibition continues to uncover emerging talent, along with new work by established artists, showcasing an impressive and varied array of paintings, sculptures, photographs, ceramics, textile works, and fine crafts.
There is a gala public reception with the artists in attendance on Friday, October 7, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Admission to the reception is free; a no-host bar will raise funds for the Emeryville Youth Art Program.
