Description
Street photography involves acute observation, intense distillation and the art of improvisation. This 3-day total immersion workshop concentrates on the fluid and purposeful photographic interaction with the constantly changing rhythms of the city, the neighborhood and the street. The urban environment, people, time of day, selective seeing and the individual vision of the photographer will be investigated through a series of slides shows, exercises and continual hands on photographing and editing. The relationship of street photography to documentary photography, reportage and the photo essay will be investigated and each participant will be supported in arriving at a particular view of the subject and its interpretation.
