Description
The Alamo Square Neighborhood Association was founded for the express purpose of maintaining the unique character of this 12-square block Historic District, particularly Alamo Square Park, one of the most-visited parks in the Bay Area with its classic view of restored Victorians backed by downtown San Francisco.
Since 1963, this annual fundraiser has in particular assisted the Alamo Square Neighborhood in its #1 effort: a fully restored Alamo Square Park, including a refurbished playground with an ADA-accessible pathway, new lights, windscreen for the tennis courts, new picnic tables and benches and enhanced landscaping.
