Help us make history! Next Saturday and Sunday, on the final day of our Kickstarter, The Lab will commit to the exhausting, almost impossible task of a 24-hour, non-stop telethon! This means music, talks, glorious SF food & cocktails, video, celebration, and chaos, all broadcast online. The event will feature phone banks wo/manned by artists, celebrities, and a roster of performances, interventions, and dozens of surprises!
James Franco just left us a video message saying, "Save The Lab" - seriously! http://youtu.be/zEBJOlbisQA
The telethon takes place noon to noon, November 15th--16th at The Lab, 2948 16th Street at Mission.

Founded by art students in 1984, The Lab is one of the last remaining experimental art and music spaces in San Francisco. This space has hosted jaw-dropping exhibitions and events with Nan Goldin, Lydia Lunch, Bruce Conner, My Bloody Valentine, Carrie Mae Weems, Wolf Eyes, Barbara Kruger, Caroliner, Kathleen Hanna, Jello Biafra, and countless others. Facing harsh funding cuts but bouncing back, The Lab has a chance to finish rebuilding and serving everything weird and wonderful about San Francisco.
