Dates Announced for Coachella 2017, Advance Tickets on Sale This Week

Although many festival-goers are still basking in the glow of Lightning in a Bottle or reminiscing this year’s Coachella, event organizers Goldenvoice have gone ahead and announced the dates for the 2017 Coachella Music Festival with tickets going on sale Wednesday, June 8 at 11am PST. Mark your calendars as weekend one spans April 14-16 with weekend two taking place April 21-23.

It’s never too early to begin planning a trip to Indio for the mega music festival, and tickets are much easier to obtain before the lineup is announced early next year. Even better, those who purchase tickets have the option of pursuing a payment plan that allows buyers to breakup ticket fees into monthly installments. Those who choose this option will pay $57 over seven months from June through December 2016.

Coachella will have up to 25,000 more people attending each weekend next year, after Indio City Council voted to allow the expansion.

Coachella seekers will be limited to purchasing two passes each per weekend, with the exception of those who acquire a hotel package or the Lake Eldorado four-person tent packages priced at $3,196 with general admission, or VIP tickets for $5,200.

If you’re determined to make it to Coachella, best to buy your tickets early. The lineup should be announced in January and more tickets are made available then. See you in the desert next year!
