Puppy Bowl Cafe Wins Major Cute Points & Supports Local Shelters: Double Win!

Local and visiting animal lovers are in for a treat as Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl Cafe serves up some major cuteness next Thursday through Sunday over at Gott’s Roadside in the Ferry Building. A 24-foot mock football field will be set up at Gott’s Roadside with an Animal Planet referee on hand to ensure all puppies are playing nice.

The puppies at this adorable local pop-up version of the Puppy Bowl come from the Animal Care & Control San Francisco shelter and the East Bay SPCA. They are available for adoption after the final day of the event through their respective shelters. East Bay SPCA, based out of Oakland and Dublin, will also be offering a 10% discount on adoptions.

This event is free and all ages. Gott’s is also expected to feature some special menu items that will go toward puppy costs, so perhaps plan to grab lunch here as well.

Just to note, the official Puppy Bowl XII was filmed in New York a couple months back. It will air on Animal Planet on February 7th at 3pm. Stream live on Animal Planet. If you are as excited as I am, here are some videos to keep you entertained in the meantime. (Thank you internet gods!)

Location: Gott’s Roadside in the Ferry Building (a convenient stopping via the Ferry, Trolley, Muni, and Embarcadero Bart) Hours: Thu, Fri, Sat, Feb 4-6 – 11am to 8pm, Sun, Feb. 7 – 11am to 3pm
