2016 US–China New Energy Economy Forum

Join Noble Prize Laureate, Former US Secretary of Energy, and CEOs of EV companies to discuss our greener energy future

Taking place this September 21-22 at Julia Morgan Ballroom in downtown San Francisco, this two-day event will address the challenges and opportunities involved in the ongoing transition of global energy and environment landscape, with a focus on U.S. and China’s roles in this historic undertaking. Our vision for this year’s forum is to bring together experts, thinkers, and executives from U.S. and China to share and realize ideas on building a cleaner and more efficient energy future.

The forum will consist of the following four sessions:

Session 1: U.S.–China Energy Cooperation and Innovation
Session 2: U.S. and China Policies on Environment and Sustainable Development
Session 3: U.S. and China Electric Vehicle Markets and Outlook
Session 4: Technology Innovation and Market Outlook for Battery System

Current confirmed high-profile speakers include:

• Steven Chu: Nobel Laureate, former U.S. Secretary of Energy
• David Sandalow: former U.S. Undersecretary of Energy
• Zhen Li: Chairman of Guoxuan High-Tech
• Gang Zheng: CEO of BAIC EV
• Hillard Huntington: Executive Director of Stanford Energy Modeling Forum


This event will provide an excellent occasion for experts, industry executives, and students in the new energy industry in US to meet with their Chinese counterparts to discuss business and job opportunities.
