The 71st U.S. Women’s Open Championship will take place at CordeValle, July 4-10. Considered the world’s premier women’s golf championship, the U.S. Women’s Open is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the United States Golf Association (USGA). A field of 156 of the world’s top professional and amateur players including Michelle Wie, Inbee Park, Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson, Paula Creamer and more will compete for the approximate $4.5 million prize purse. This will be the first time the U.S. Women’s Open will take place in the San Francisco Bay Area.
