2015 San Mateo Harvest Festival

SEE EVENT DETAILS
The San Mateo Harvest Festival is bringing the Peninsula a holiday shopping event unlike no other, returning to the San Mateo Event Center on November 13-15, 2015, with thousands of handmade arts and crafts, live music and performances, a hands-on KidZone, delicious foods and much more.

The San Mateo Harvest Festival® Original Art and Craft Show offers over 24,000 American handmade items, including original art, clothing, jewelry, specialty foods, toys, holiday decor and more. Customers can stroll aisle upon aisle of unique gifts, speaking directly to artists and often getting purchases personalized.

This year, the Harvest Festival has brought back fan favorites Tom Rigney and Flambeau, a fiery Cajun/Zydeco band who is known to awe audiences with their furious fiddling performances. Scott Land Marionettes will also be a featured performer and will present beautiful and humorous marionette shows which appeal to all ages and walks of life.

Returning for his second year is renowned fruit carver Chef Ray Duey. Attendees will be wowed as Chef Ray demonstrates his carving skills and creates eye-popping works of art each day.

The Peninsula Humane Society/SPCA will return as the show's official charity and will receive half of the proceeds from all shopping bags sold, and the Samaritan House will be there collecting non-perishable food donations. Anyone who brings a donation will receive $2 off a regular or adult admission.

The KidZone, a specialized area for kids to participate in hands on crafting activities, will be sponsored by Gingerbread-on-the-Go and Nature of Art for Kids. The crafts will include gingerbread cookie decorating and eco friendly art projects. New York Life will also be on hand to offer free Child ID services.

Plus, attendees can enter to win fabulous prizes, including the grand prize of a resort vacation package at the Ridge Resorts in Lake Tahoe.

The San Mateo Harvest Festival takes place November 13-15, 2015 at the San Mateo Event Center. It runs Friday and Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday from 10am-5pm. For tickets and additional information, call 800-346-1212 or visit http://www.harvestfestival.com
