The San Francisco Transgender Film Festival announces its 14th festival – a stellar collection of transgender films from around the globe. This year’s festival takes place at two venerable SF cinema institutions: The Roxie Theater and The Castro Theater. The Festival kicks off Thursday night November 12 at the ROXIE THEATER with a special Gala Opening Night program of international shorts.
On Friday November 13, SFTFF presents the world premiere of MAJOR!, a documentary exploring the life and campaigns of Stonewall veteran Miss Major Griffin-Gracy at Castro Theater.
The Festival continues all weekend at the Roxie Theater with a lineup that includes award-winning features, short films and special Q&As with trans filmmakers.
