Wako Daiko has been crowned champion of many taiko competitions all over Japan & performed at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics!
Grand Master Seiichi Tanaka was named & 2001 National Heritage Fellow from the National Endowments for the Arts. In 2013, was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun from the Emperor Of Japan. SF Taiko Dojo is the original taiko group in the USA founded in 1968.
