Comedian Amy Schumer to Bring ‘Back Door Tour’ to SF

Honest and unapologetic stand-up comedian Amy Schumer is coming to San Francisco for a stand-up show on the big stage at Davies Symphony Hall as part of her “Back Door Tour.”

Schumer’s provocative and hilariously wicked mind will be on full display on March 26 as she explores topics revolving around sex, relationships, and the general clusterfucks of life. Doors for the San Francisco show open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Schumer, who last performed in San Francisco earlier this year at the annual Sketchfest comedy marathon, currently serves as a writer, executive producer, and star actress for the Emmy-nominated television series Inside Amy Schumer on Comedy Central. Her show originally premiered in April 2013 and will return for a third season next year.

Her popularity has been on a rapid rise after placing fourth on the fifth season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing and second on Comedy Central’s Reality Bites Back. Schumer has plenty of television experience, with appearances on FX’s Louie and HBO’s Girls. She also had a recurring role on the third season of Adult Swim’s Delocated and guest starred in the latest season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Back in 2012, Schumer hosted a one-hour stand-up special, Mostly Sex Stuff, which was Comedy Central’s second-highest rated special that year.
