Hiero Day Returns to Oakland for Labor Day

Hiero Day is officially a Labor Day tradition in Oakland as the day party arrives at Linden Street Brewery for its third year on Monday with a full lineup of Bay Area hip hop.

In addition to a headlining set from the veteran Oakland crew Hieroglyphics, performances include Adrian Younge (producer of the new release from Souls of Mischief), several members of the Living Legends crew (look out for Zion I with The Grouch and Eligh, and Mystic Journeymen), Vallejo OG Mac Mall, San Francisco’s Alexander Spit and Oakland’s own Los Rakas.

Chuy Gomez and Mistah Fab will share host duties while DJ Amen, D Sharp and Sake 1 work the decks between sets.

Admission is $5 to $100, with perks offered to those who pay more.
