The Treasure Island Music Festival will return October 18-20 with headliners Massive Attack and Outkast, the duo’s first Bay Area appearance since reuniting at Coachella earlier this year.
The two-day festival in the middle of San Francisco bay will also return with Treasure Island Festival alumnus TV On The Radio (who debuted songs from a new album at BottleRock earlier this month), Alt-J, Janelle Monae, the New Pornographers, The Growlers,
Santigold, Zedd, Painted Palms, Ana Tijoux, Washed Out and St. Lucia.
One of the most hyped tours of the summer, Outkast returned to the stage to lukewarm reviews at Coachella this year after a seven-year hiatus. However, after numerous other festival appearances in the U.S. including a headlining slot at Napa’s BottleRock festival, the duo appeared to have have worked out the kinks with a fine-tuned greatest hits set from Outkast and tracks from Big Boi and Andre 3000′s solo efforts.
