Outside Lands will return to Golden Gate Park in August with Kanye West, The Killers, Macklemore and Tiesto headlining the three-day music festival.

Outside Lands organizers recruited Bay Area pop music legend Huey Lewis to make the video announcement today, perhaps a new tradition after MC Hammer helped announced the lineup in 2012 when Metallica and Neil Young headlined.

The announcement for the festivals seventh year, August 8-10, arrives after several clues were revealed last week through the festival’s social media accounts, most notably the Flaming Lips, Kykke Li, Tycho and Atmosphere. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers helped christen the festival during it’s first year in 2008, closing the show with classic rock hits on Saturday night.
